The Ohio Park Neighborhood Association (OPNA) organized in 2004 to address the issues faced in our community. The OPNA is bordered by 6th Street going West to 13th Street, Oklahoma going South to Morgan/Holt, and including Eden Place. Our neighborhood is comprised of approximately 1,100 households. Meetings are held to address issues that impact the neighborhood and to announce events that will benefit all neighbors. A volunteer steering committee meets regulary to organize events throughout the year. Past events have included the Spring Clean Up in May, National Night Out in August, and Night Time Halloween Trick-or-Treating.

OPNA holds its meetings in the Ohio Park Pavilion. OPNA does not charge membership dues and is available to address your neighborhood concerns. If you are interested in attending any of the meetings or volunteering for any of our events, please contact a steering committee member using the contact link above.

Thanks for checking in with YOUR neighborhood and we hope to see you soon!

The Fall OPNA Flyer, has all the details on the Halloween event. You can also check the events page.

10/20/2014:    Information shared by your neighbors~

Today I was informed the house next to 3423 s.10th st was broken into by 2 Latino males. The cops were called and they were caught.

I guess there's a scam going right now where a couple of guys knock on doors and claim they are with a utility agency and need to cut some branches. While the home owner is outside "looking at the branches that need to be cut", the other guy robs the house. Just an FYI.

I live on the 3200 block of south 9th street they are stealing central air units out of yards. my wife caught a guy at 6:30 in the morning in our alley ready to load one unit in has tan mini van. He saw her and took off in the van. we called police.

10/17/2014 Today, my husband came home around 10:30 a.m. because he had forgotten something at home and found two men wandering around our yard, with one of them on our porch. They entered our yard through our gate in the alley.  They had a car parked in the alley and had walked all through our yard. The car was a green four door that was either an Oldsmobile or Buick. They were very young, Latino males who were well dressed. My husband told them to leave, and we called the police. The neighbor across our alley said he saw them do the same thing in the yard next to us.My husband spoke with officers when they came to patrol. Our neighbor in the alley behind us said that he saw them do the same thing in the yard next to us as well. We live on the 3200 block of 12th Street.
